Bamstone company directors Michael and Cheryl Steel are proud to announce that the construction and design collaborative at the “Quietude” garden, featuring Bamstone Australian Bluestone, successfully won Gold Medal and Best in Show at the 2015 Melbourne International Flower and garden Show event.

With such an array of high-calibre and talent present at the show again this year, the team was unsure how the garden would come up against the many eligible competitors.

However, the judging panel recognised the garden’s external aesthetic design award the garden as the overall winners.

This was Michael and Cheryl’s second back-to-back show garden win with designer Mark Browning, from Cycas Landscape. In 2014, Mark Browning collaborated with Bamstone to design “The Patriach’s Garden”. The garden was awarded Gold Medal, Best Construction and Best in Show Garden.

“…It is always an absolute privilege, pleasure and unforgettable experience to supply Australian Bluestone to a show garden. It’s a great opportunity for the public eye to see the versatility and unique personality that our stone can bring to a designed garden space. We are so proud of this year’s team!”

Thank you to a long list of talented individuals who made the project a unique and proud success.
