Bamstone was delighted to supply Australian Bluestone to yet another Gold Medal and Best in Show winning garden at the 2017 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show! In the last four consecutive years, Bamstone have had the privilege to work with successful Best in Show winning teams!

This years winning garden was named “I See Wild”, designed by Phillip Withers Landscape Design and constructed by Avoca Landscapes. We would like to thank Phil and his team for partnering with us in this collaborative display and for providing us with the opportunity to showcase our products in such a remarkable and unique way. A special element we would like to highlight in “I See Wild” was the installation of custom engraved Bluestone pavers. The Warrnambool Clontarf Academy together with Mr Robbie Lowe Snr. designed, created and carved these pavers at Bamstone, with the aim of telling a story through the Indigenous symbols engraved into the pavers.

Bamstone was also priviledged to supply bluestone to two other award winning show gardens at MIFGS 2017. “Echelon” designed by Cycas Landscape Design and constructed by Kiama Pools and Landscapes received a Silver Medal and “An Urban Sanctuary” created by landscape designer Charlie Albone, was awarded a Bronze MedalWe would like to congratulate both Mark Browning of Cycas Landscapes and Charlie Albone for their achievements this year. Both were stunning designs and we thoroughly enjoyed helping to bring both “Echelon” and “An Urban Sanctuary” to life.
