Bamstone were delighted to supply Australian bluestone to one of Australia’s top museums – Australia Museum. Paving and tiles were supplied to the front entrance and the interior hallway of the museum. In sections of the paving, original footprints from an Indigenous Australian child during the Pleistocene era have been copied and etched into the bluestone. The footprints are estimated to be twenty thousand years old and are still visible at Lake Mungo.
